Zines to Screens Workshop
With students Visual Communication, Kunsthochschule Kassel, May 10-12, 2011
Klasse Goetz, a group of graphic design students guided by graphic designer/educator Gabriele Franziska Goetz, working on a magazine-project.
Aim of this workshop: sharing knowledge and experience about transforming digital material into analogue images and type that will work in a series of screenprinted posters (that are due end of the semester).
The school’s ‘Serigraphie’ workshop may not be big, but the tools, 2 Bochonow screenprinting tables (made in Germany), are great.
The combined action with Rudolf Ludewig, the shop’s supervisor, proved to be a pleasant and fruitful one too!
