Studio
Since I moved to Amsterdam in 1994, I’ve shared many studios with various people. So far, I’ve worked at 11 different locations alltogether, a reason to keep things compact and light. At the moment I’m content working in this cosy 16 m2 studio at the Elandsstraat, where I also live.
While being a student at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie, Kees Maas introduced me to the principles of the screenprinting process. Since I graduated in 1998, most of my printing is done at his screenprinting shop/ publishing house Interbellum Grafiek in Amsterdam Noord.
Today, Kees and me are collegues at the same Rietveld Academie, co-running the school’s screenprinting shop for paper.
