The revenues from these 'Children stamps' are used to benefit children from vulnerable
groups within society. Stichting
Kinderpostzegels Nederland gives financial support to
hundreds of projects allover the world. Every year a different designer/ artist/
illustrator
is asked to do the honorable job of designing a set of stamps. Every november
schoolchildren
allover Holland sell them door to door.
The Goldenmasters found inspiration at the popular 'old school' computer games.
The 6 stamps
together form a 'route' that is followed by a little character. Every stamp is
a 'level' in
a bigger adventure that starts in the upper left corner and moves clockwise, ending
at the
Buddha/ Mailbox. The typography was especially designed for the stamps.

Side products:

'Mailer' (Folder with 50 self adhesive stamps)

Card 'Iza Grace'
My friends Like and Marcel who gave birth to their daughter Iza Grace insisted
to use the
self adhesive stamp for their birth announcement card. I designed and printed
a card around
the stamp. Too bad, the white ink I used for the swans is impossible to reproduce...

This one has defenitely been used!
