An installation at the Salle du Conseil (City Council's Room), inside the Hotel de Ville
(Townhall), at the International poster and graphic arts festival of Chaumont 2005.
The work is inspired by, and makes use of elements from the foundation of the festival,
the historical Collection Gustave Dutailly (5.000 vintage poster from the Fin de Siecle
and more). Besides showing a selection of these old lithographic posters, I made a
new body of work using parts of other posters that were mixed with additional graphics.
An insane artisanal working-method:

From a pre-selection of 500 vintage posters, hundreds of elements were cut...

...by hand from paper...

...and combined into new images.
